Stephen is a seasoned Los Angeles-based writer/producer with over 15 years of entertainment industry experience, spanning film, television, theater and journalistic interviews. His lens focuses on creating work that normalizes marginalized themes and voices.

 

Stephen has written and produced numerous short films, two of which screened at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal - including Zoo Animals starring Francisco Ramos, which was acquired by HBO. He helped develop the independent pilot Dr. Del for Heel & Toe Films, starring John Hawkes, Chloë Sevigny, and Ted Levine, and served as en executive producer on the BitTorrent Now comedy pilot The Specials alongside Honora Productions.

 

His other credits include co-creating the digital series Don Paco's Casa for Más Mejor/Broadway Video and producing the directorial debut short film Reverse for Fahim Anwar, starring Anwar, Brent Morin, and Jesús Trejo.

 

In addition to his creative work, Stephen interviews musicians, comedians, athletes, and other filmmakers - including Carlos Santana, Kevin Smith, Joe Montana, Max Verstappen, and Darryl Jones of The Rolling Stones - for brands like Red Bull and mass editorial outlets like High Times Magazine, Men's Journal, The Org, Decential Media, Cointelegraph and AskMen.
